How To Reserve A Puppy From
Meadow Springs Kennel
* When inquiring please give me your full name, email, phone number and the state in which you live.
* Tell me briefly about the environment into which the pup will be going. Example: children, apartment, house, and type of lifestyle.
* Prices vary with size, sex and color.
* A 200.00 non refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. The remainder is to be paid at the time of pick up or before the puppy is to be shipped.
* I will be happy to send updated pictures and information on any puppy in which you might be interested.
* If shipping is required and you are picking a puppy "sight unseen" and only depend on a photo, I will work very hard to make you feel comfortable with your choice. You are welcome to call and talk with me personally and I encourage you to do so. That way I can get a better feel for what type of temperament and personality will be best for your family and life style.
* I do not use a waiting list so it is best to check frequently to see what might be available and when.
* You can see my adult dogs on my breeder page and the puppies and other dogs for sale on the puppy page.
* If you have any questions or need more information please feel free to email or call me.

Meadow Springs Kennel Sales Agreement and Condition of Sale
Marion Shiller of Meadowsprings Kennel, hereafter referred to as the Seller, and the new owner of the puppy, hereafter referred to as the Buyer, do hereby enter into the following agreement:
This dog is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of this sale to the best of the Seller’s knowledge. The dog has had inoculations against canine distemper, adenovirus type 2, Para influenza and parvovirus vaccine. If travel on an airline is required the dog will be examined by a licensed veterinarian and will be cleared for travel.
Replacement Guarantee:
The Buyer has a health guarantee extending to 5 working days from the date of purchase in which they must have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian. This is for confirmation of the health of the animal and the Buyer is urged to do so.
If the veterinarian finds anything seriously wrong with the dog the dog will be exchanged for another dog of equal or greater value when available, providing that a letter from the examining veterinarian is offered as evidence of the dog’s illness. The dog must be returned within the guaranteed period pursuant to the terms and conditions contained herein. Parasites (demodex) and worms are not covered by this agreement.
The Seller assumes no responsibility for the dog after leaving the Seller's premises including, but not limited to, medical expenses, temperament, mortality, landlord’s approval, allergy to animals, disagreements of family or any other reason. It is further understood and agreed that no warranties or representation of any nature or sort have been made with respect to the sold animal except those contained in this agreement. However, rest assured that I stand behind my puppies. My reputation is based on your satisfaction and healthy well bred dogs.
The Buyer has been advised that a puppy should not be taken around other animals that have not been protected against the normal diseases until the puppy has competed the third series of puppy vaccinations and been advised by their own veterinarian.
The Buyer has been advised of the importance of making sure that the puppy does not stop eating or drinking. If this situation should occur the Buyer has been advised to seek the advice of a licensed veterinarian. The Buyer has been further informed that hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and/or dehydration can occur rapidly in Tiny Tots and small toy puppies.
The Seller has explained to the Buyer the critical issue of maintaining watch over the puppy to be certain that it is ingesting proper food and water amounts. Further, the Buyer has been advised to contact the Seller if there seems to be a problem with the puppy or if the Buyer has concerns about the puppy’s health.
The Buyer has been informed that the Seller is not a licensed veterinarian and that immediate veterinary medical advice should be sought first if critical health issues arise during the time period covered by this agreement. The Buyer should only contact the Seller after the emergency medical situation has been dealt with by a licensed veterinarian. Any failure of the Buyer to seek proper medical care for the puppy shall render the contract null and void and the Seller free from replacement and blame.
All puppies are sold as pet and companion quality only. There is no guarantee that the dog will be show quality or suitable for breeding when it reaches maturity.
The Buyer must read and agree to the following upon receipt of the dog.
I/we have examined this dog and found it to be sound and healthy and am totally pleased and satisfied. I/we also accept and will adhere to the recommendation to feed the dog high quality food and vitamins all of its life. I have been advised to feed the food in proper amounts to avoid poor health or obesity. I/we agree to keep worming and inoculations or titers current as advised by my/our personal veterinarian. I/we will adhere to the advice given on training the pup so that it will develop a good nature and not have the “spoiled” nature of an untrained dog.
One Year Guarantee Against Patellar Luxation.
I/we have been advised to refrain from raising a puppy on slippery surfaces, allowing free-run of stairs and jumping. I/we understand that these factors can lead to negative conditions at an early age before bone growth is complete at adulthood. If I/we go against this advice the guarantee is null and void.
If Patellar Luxation does occur, a stipulation of this guarantee requires that the dog be seen by a licensed veterinarian. The veterinarian must evaluate and document the exact condition and outcome of the dog. The Seller must receive this written statement from the veterinarian along with the original signed guarantee and registration paper before the Buyer receives a replacement puppy of equal or better quality. The Seller has the right to get a second opinion to verify the condition of the dog. This guarantee applies to only the dog purchased and is not transferable.
In no event shall the Seller be responsible to refund the purchase price to the Buyer. The extent of the Seller’s liability shall be to replace the animal in question with one of equal or greater value. No replacement will be given if the dog has been spayed or neutered. The Buyer is responsible for all medical and transportation costs.
I/we have read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions contained herein:
