Meet Our Puppies, Past and
Present:
*Special
Note: You might notice that my pups are a little older when I am ready
to sell them. Usually local breeders will sell at 8 wks of age. I will
not usually sell till at least 12 weeks of age. There
are three main reasons for that. 1) My dogs often have to
travel to their new homes by airline. I will not subject a puppy that is
too young to that trip. 2) Research suggests that dogs need that first
12 weeks of socialization from their mother and siblings in order to
learn how to be good canine citizens. 3) These tiny little
dogs gain a lot from their mother's immunity by weaning later. I believe
it makes them healthier dogs.
Is there anything
like a pile of puppies to make you smile?

And now here's a REAL Lineup. :) I asked them
to stop playing for a minute to line up for a picture...This is what I
got...well, ALMOST a straight line! (lol)

*** Newer Litters
Cameo
and Duke's Litter born 5-23-08
Cameo and Duke had 3
females on 5/23. The first two pics are of Cameo and Duke.

One is a Black/White/Tri and the
other two are dark Sable at this time. Here are the girls still with their
mom.

Julia
and Dukes new male 3-26-2008
Here is the male I
have available from Julia and Duke. This was Julia's first litter. The first
two pics are Duke and Julia.

Here is the male. He is a wonderful
little B type body with a great confirmation and a great personality.

Bailey Blue and Duke
litter born 3-17-08
Bailey Blue and Duke
had 4 males and 3 females originally. here are the pups I have available.
The first 2 pics are of Bailey Blue and Duke. Beside them is the whole group
picture before I show them separately.
Now THIS is a litter of healthy
puppies to be proud of. :) I will break them down into male and female and
try to give you an idea of their colors. In the Rat Terrier breed new colors
are always being discovered. A few of these seem to be as unusual as they
are beautiful. Some of these colors border on the new color called "Pearl".
I will not misrepresent my puppies so for now I will describe them as they
appear at this age. This litter is something special.

Here are the males as they appear
to me now. Except for the Black/tan male their colors range from Blue fawn
to Pearl Fawn to possibly Chocolate Fawn. The black/tan male will also carry
these colors. Several of these pups have the most unusual blue or green eyes
I have seen to date. Write or call me for details on any of these special
puppies. Blue fawn with white paws is 2.8 lbs. The blue fawn with
green eyes is 2.4 lbs. The darker solid blue fawn is 2.4 lbs and the
black/tan is 2.12 lbs. I am consulting with other breeders and the NRTA to
finalize what these colors will be called.

Here are the females. They also
carry or show the unusual colors. This is truly an exceptional litter.
Remember that I concentrate on healthy well formed dogs with great
temperament. The fantastic and unusual colors are a great bonus. Having one
of these pups will be something special, but then I think all of my pups are
special. :) Take a look at these females. One seems to be blue fawn at 1.8
lbs. The others are blue fawn with white socks at 2.4 lbs and a solid blue
fawn at 2.0 lbs. Keep in mind that what we call these colors may change as
breeding science evolves. Call or write me for details. They are still
growing into their ears at this age.

** Update June 5th 2008
Cinnamon and Khemosabie have one
male from their Jan 6th, 2008 litter. The first two
pics are Cinnamon and Khemosabie.

This male is solid tan at 6.5
lbs . His ears should stand up as he grows into them. He has a wonderful
temperament and just full of personality. If you have kids or other dogs he
may be perfect for you. He makes me laugh all the time.
**Update May 5th, 2008
Fran and Duke still have one female
available from their December 15th, 2007 litter. The first two pics are Fran and
Duke.

This little gal's most recent
weight from early May is 5 lbs. She is a sable tuxedo B type body with good
bone and conformation. She will carry some chocolate and blue from both
parents.

** Update June 6th, 2008
Amy and Duke have one female from
their Aug 15th, 2007 litter for sale. The first pictures are of Duke and Amy.

This little female is a
sable/white tuxedo with white collar and boots that weighs 4 lbs. She should
remain a tiny tot. She will carry blue from both parents. This is a gorgeous
little girl.

**Update May 5th,2008
Ollie and Duke have one male available from
their August 23rd, 2007 litter. The first
two pics are of Ollie and Duke.

The little male is a real
nice tuxedo sable/white with white stockings and weighed 6.12
lbs in early May. Although his lines are excellent his bite is not perfect
so he would not be a good choice for a breeder or a show dog, but he is a
wonderful little dog. I think he's just beautiful.

Occasionally my spam filter will catch legitimate e mails. I try to
catch them. If you do not hear from me in a timely fashion try again or

PUPPIES. That will probably
get it through.

**Worried about small
kids and small puppies?** With proper
supervision there is no need to be. I socialize my puppies with kids very
well. I am assisted in this by and ample supply of grandchildren and their
friends. :)
Here is an example of how
well my pups are socialized around children. My grandchildren wanted some
new pics of themselves here too. Enjoy! :)

Update of my
granddaughter, Bailey with Lara and Muskrat's litter.

An example of the beautiful puppies we have...

I try to be very careful about matching puppies to loving homes. Please
do not be offended if I ask you a few questions to see if we have a good
match. :) This beautiful pup with the pumpkin above is not for sale
anymore. This is just an example of some of the pretty colors I get.
PUPPIES FROM THE PAST: SOME OF OUR
"GRADUATES"
(I'm afraid these puppies all have
good homes now and you couldn't tear them away from their families.
:) I just wanted to show you some of them). Also I would like to put
together a scrapbook of some of my puppies that now own families of their
own, so if you have one of my pups and want their picture here please send me
a recent one with details. I would love to put them up here. :)
Marion
This
is Sadie. Born to Tinkerbell and Stormy on 1-17-99. She is only 3 pounds
and full of love and laughter. Please don't tell her that because she
thinks she is quite large and tough. She also thinks she bears a striking
resemblance to Audrey Hepburn when she's all dressed up. (LOL) ( Or
so I've been told!) :)

Another "graduate". This is Dakota, from Tinkerbell and Stormy. He was born on 3-29-01 and he's 4 pounds of gorgeous!
This was just taken of Sadie and Dakota this past spring. As you can see
they are just a little spoiled. :)
An Example of some of my Tiny Tots when they've grown up. This is Tater (an
A type body at 4.8 pounds) , Sadie (a B type body at 3 pounds) and Dakota (a B type
body at little over 4 pounds) Tater is a half
sister to the other two. Sadie and Dakota are full brother and
sister from different litters. They are all under five pounds full grown.
Tater was born to James and Carolyn Tate
Here is "Bama", a very handsome guy born to
Stormy and Molly in October of 2003. He weighs around 5 lbs and sleeps around
his new mom's neck as she works on the computer. He doubles as a neck
warmer. :) Bama now resides with his family in Alabama.
Tiny Dezmond lives up in Alaska. Jessica is his new mom and she says that he
is full of personality and love. He even won over Jessica's parents. You can
see Jessica's letter of reference in my References. :)
It's hard to tell
just how small these little pups are unless you see them next to
something. In these older pictures these puppies are less than a week old and being handled by my
grandchildren, Brittany (age 12), Blair Rae (age 10), and Bailey (age 5).
My grandchildren are older now but this shows how tiny these pups are
next to very small children.
Our site is always changing and we try to
keep up with it daily. Always feel free to contact me to see if anything
has changed.
